How can the wattage of an LED street light be determined? The wattage of an LED street light is determined by a variety of criteria, including the kind of road, whether it is a major or branch road, whether it is a courtyard or a public road, and the pole height.
The output of LED street lights is influenced by the road's various circumstances. In general, 6 meters needs 30W-60W, while 8 meters requires 60W-100W. Professional LED street light manufacturers will assess the road conditions and provide an appropriate solution.
In general, high-pressure sodium light produces between 80 and 140 lumens per watt. Using the intermediate figure of 120 lumens per watt, a 100W HPS street light produces 12,000 lumens, a 250W street light produces 30,000 lumens, and a 400W street light produces around 48,000 lumens.
