How to install LED street lights and what's needed to pay attention during the process?
LED street lights are well-known and advantageous road lighting items, thus they are also liked by consumers. Frequently, purchasers are worried about the cost and quality of led street lights, but it is easy to ignore the installation process. As long as the product's quality is satisfactory and it is installed, I believe it receives little attention. In reality, LED street light installation is also quite crucial. Why do you say this? The MKLIGHTS firm will then explain how to install LED street lights and the factors that must be considered during installation.
Step 1: Select the installation site
Select a site that will allow the placement of foundations and the installation of street light poles. To avoid unsteady street light poles, avoid choosing a moist location.
The illuminating output of the LED street lights, the height of the street lamp poles, and the width of the road dictate the distance between LED street lamps. In certain communities, the distance is determined by the number of streetlights that can be acquired within the budget. Theoretically, the spacing between LED street lights is often 3.8 to 4.0 times the height of the poles, whereas the longitudinal space between street lamps is typically 30 to 50 meters.
Step 2: Wiring (laying buried cables)
Select the proper kind of cable, lay the cable, and conduct an insulation test on the cable following engineering specifications. Use a shaking meter to remotely test the insulation resistance between the wires and the ground in order to determine whether the cable is intact and if it is leaking. All of the test values are After the remote measurement is complete, the core wire shall be discharged to the ground in accordance with the criteria of the specification. The cable's termination is covered with a rubber cloth and then encased in tape.
Step 3: Dig the hole
According to the size of the embedded components, excavate a pouring pit of the appropriate size.
Step 4: Pouring
Place the implanted components in the hole, then pour the cement. During the pouring process, care must be taken to stabilize the embedded components to ensure that they are straight.
Step 5: Fix the LED street light
After the foundation has dried, secure the constructed LED street light's bottom flange with the embedded pieces and fasten the screws.
Note:
The installation height (from the light source to the ground), angle of elevation, and installation direction of LED street lights in the same location should be uniform.
The longitudinal centerline of the LED luminaire should align with the longitudinal centerline of the lamp arm. After tightening, the horizontal horizontal line of the luminaire should be parallel to the ground and there should be no evident skew.
The LED street light head must be set to the right position per the design, and the wiring of the street lamp head must adhere to the requirements.
Recheck and retighten all types of nuts. There should be washers and spring washers added.
Step 6: Wiring
Connect the wires in the street light pole to the cables that have been installed, tape the connections, and insert them into the street light poles.
Note:
After participation, the supplies will be checked out of the box, and the equipment will only be used after passing inspection.
The center lines of the moving contact and static contact must coincide, and the contacts must be in close proximity.
The switching contact of the secondary circuit's auxiliary switch should be precise and dependable.
The mechanical and electrical locking mechanisms must be precise and trustworthy.
The grounding system must be sturdy and dependable and conform to the specifications and drawings.
Step 7: Test and pressure test
It is required to employ debugging equipment, surfaces, and instruments that have been examined and certified by state-recognized entities with metrological qualifications, and that are used and stored by specialized persons.
The insulation test of the electrical circuit must be acceptable, the impedance matching must be exact, the wiring must be precise, and the symbol must be legible and comprehensive.
The surface must be active, the measurement must be precise, the zero position must be correct, and the indicator accuracy, degradation, and recording accuracy must conform to the specifications given in the handbook.
Before continuing with sub-item debugging, it is necessary to confirm the equipment's accuracy after its completion.
After debugging each sub-item, system debugging, linkage debugging, and trial operation may be performed.
Follow the aforementioned procedures to finish the installation and commissioning of the led street light to guarantee its normal and stable operation; maintenance costs may be lowered at a later point.
