This may occur if you are using identical products from the same manufacturer, with the same optics and hardware. In general, however, the nature of the components (such as the optical system, the heat sink, the LED chip, and the driver) has a greater impact on the output than the watts. Even if the same LED chip is used, a 3watt LED luminaire from one manufacturer will have a different output than a 3watt LED luminaire from another manufacturer. Therefore, the use of a high-quality processor alone cannot ensure improved performance. Observe that as wattage rises, efficiency decreases marginally. A 3W LED will emit slightly less than three times the amount of light as a 1W LED.
There should be no concern about the effect of blue LED street lighting on sleep disturbances. According to the United States Department of Energy, there is no difference between the blue light from LEDs and other light sources. What's more essential is nighttime light intensity. The disruptive impact is highly dependent on the quantity, timing, and duration of light exposure. According to research, the light levels generated by LED street lighting are insufficient to influence the hormone levels that regulate our sleep behavior.
