A UFO LED high bay light is a UFO disc-shaped LED luminaire system that incorporates a flat integrated aluminum housing with optics particularly built to improve the light distribution over a given area without depending on bulky reflectors.
For ceiling heights of 15 feet or more, it is advised to keep a horizontal distance of 12 feet between two UFO LED high bay lights. And, if the ceiling height is at least 20 feet, there must be at least 15 feet between the two light fixtures.
The easiest method to compare high bay vs low bay lighting is by the ceiling height. Low bay fixtures are only compatible with ceilings between 12 and 20 feet in height. High bay lighting can illuminate ceilings between 20 and 45 feet in height.
