This is dictated by the tunnel's unique structure as well as the physiological structure of the human eye. Because the tunnel is semi-enclosed, there is a significant contrast in light between the interior and outside of the tunnel. When a vehicle enters or departs the tunnel, the human eye must adjust to the passage of time. As a result, "adaptation lag" arises. When cars enter the cave during the day, people's visual responses lag, creating a "black hole effect," making it impossible to identify the situation in the cave; when the vehicle departs the tunnel, a "white hole effect" forms, generating an intense glare.
To avoid an excessive difference in light intensity between inside and outside the tunnel and short-term visual obstruction to human eyes, the LED lights at the tunnel's entrance and exit must be dense, reducing the light intensity difference between the outside and inside of the tunnel during the day and ensuring the driver's safety.
Typically, the LED lighting in the tunnel is constructed in two rows, which is also detrimental to the driver's driving safety. In general, the LED tunnel lights are separated into two rows with two lights on each side, and the top lights are opposed to the ground to illuminate the area without reflection.
