How many watts of LED gas station lights will use generally?

How many watts do LED gas station lights need to be sufficiently bright and cost-effective? Many gas station explosion-proof lighting installation engineers, and many individuals do not know how to pick due to the abundance of unprofessional explanations on the Internet; thus, I will outline the selection procedure.

We must first understand an idea. It is incorrect to focus just on the watts since LED explosion-proof lights from various manufacturers to have the same power but differing levels of brightness and light distribution angle. For example, the majority of lamps on the market have a brightness of 90LM/W, whereas the average brightness at Watts Lighting is 130-150LM/W. For 100W lamps and lanterns, the market's brightness is 90*100 = 9000LM, whereas our company's brightness is 130*100 = 13000LM, which is 30 percent brighter than 9000LM.

Second, do not choose LED canopy lights that will be sharp, such as the integrated LED, a big and extremely bright LED, even if the brightness exceeds, but does not apply to the gas station; the light will affect the automobile entering the gas station. There are also several SMD LEDs that dazzle the eye while observing the lights from a distance; nonetheless, the light is unsuitable for petrol stations because of its unprofessional beam angle, which will also influence the driver.

This is a professional perspective, but in fact, the majority of individuals choose lights based on their wattage. Let us adopt a typical viewpoint. Gas stations are typically 6 meters tall, smaller gas stations are 4 meters or 5 meters, a large number of gas stations are 7 meters or 8 meters, and special gas stations may be higher than 8 meters or even 10 meters. Since special gas stations are difficult to see and regular gas stations will not reach such heights, we selected the conventional gas station to determine the LED explosion-proof lamp's power.
